Documents Change Lives … A Story
Just over a year ago, I got a message from Stevie.
We’d worked together briefly back in 2020. A few powerful sessions that landed well. We’d stayed connected. Collaborated on a few of Jordan Stinson’s Revive Retreats … me as the mindset speaker, Stevie as the chef. Stevie is on the right in the photo above just before he competed at Hyrox, Madrid last year.
He’d been quietly following my newsletters.
And then one edition changed everything.
It was the one where I shared about my document.
Something in that piece landed for him.
He knew I was different. He reached out. We met.
At first, I thought he might be interested in a few coaching sessions … maybe even a short-term engagement to create his own document.
But Stevie had other plans.
He didn’t want a few sessions. He wanted a year.
A full 12 months to create his document … and then deeply integrate it into who he was becoming.
Not many people invest at that level. But Stevie did. He went all in.
And I knew: this was going to be a game-changer for him.
We created his document.
But more importantly, we got to work on being it.
Not just reading it.
Not quoting it.
Not ticking a box.
Being it.
Then came an invite to speak at a networking breakfast.
He was hesitant about what to say. Usually, he’d talk about his work as a chef.
I asked him, “What’s making the biggest difference in your life right now?”
Without hesitation, he said: “My document.”
“Then why not talk about that?”
So, he did.
He talked about it. He shared it. It made an impact.
Because of how he showed up in that room, he got invited to be the chef on a leadership retreat in Spain, serving a group of senior NI-based business leaders.
And because of how he showed up on that retreat, he got another invitation.
This time from one of NI’s premier event venues … to host a series of live cookery events at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast.
If you’re local, grab a ticket to ‘Plate Up’ here. You won’t regret it.
Stevie’s story isn’t just about coaching. It’s not just about business either.
It’s about alignment.
It’s about what happens when your way of being catches up with your deepest values, your clearest vision, and your most powerful truth.
Since creating his document, Stevie has grown his Instagram following from just over 2,000 to nearly 60,000. He shows up daily. He leads with heart and service.
Earlier this year, he shared a inspiring spoken ‘note to self’ on YouTube … reflecting on how his document has become his foundation and north star.
You can watch it here.
He’s walking into 2026 with purpose, clarity, and momentum.
And I’ve got more than a feeling that he’s just getting started.
I say this often, but it’s true:
A document isn’t magic.
The words don’t change your life.
But the possibility in the document? That’s where the magic lives.
The document is a mirror … a signpost … a map back to who you really are beneath the pressure, the roles, the performance, the proving.
It’s a compass for leadership, for relationships, for business.
For SME owners and leaders navigating complexity every day … leading teams, juggling priorities, holding it all together … your document becomes a powerful anchor.
It keeps you grounded in what matters.
Aligned with who you want to be.
And when you live it … everything shifts.
I’ve seen it with Stevie.
I’ve seen it in my own life.
I created mine three years ago. It changed everything.
I’m no longer fuelled by judgment.
I’m no longer trying to prove anything.
I’m no longer working from force.
I’m creating from love. From clarity. From freedom.
And I know I’m just at the beginning of what’s possible.
If you’re curious about what that could look like for you …
If you’re ready to lead from the inside out in 2026 …
If you’re ready to build a business and a life, aligned with who you really are …
Call me.
I can help.
Much love,
Peter
