About Peter
Born and raised in Northern Ireland, I’ve spent my life dedicated to personal growth, professional development, and helping others thrive. My journey began at the Royal School Dungannon, followed by a BA in Business Studies at the University of Ulster. I built a successful 18-year career in retail, rising to Retail Operations Director at Menarys Retail Limited.
However, facing burnout in 2006 led me to weekly therapy—a turning point that inspired a career change. By 2009, I had retrained as a psychotherapist, earning a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, achieving BACP accreditation, and gaining expertise in CBT, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Relationship Counselling.
In 2016, I expanded my skills with a Diploma in Executive and Leadership Coaching, transitioning to full-time coaching by 2020. My approach blends years of therapeutic expertise with advanced coaching certifications in Systemic Team Coaching, ORSC Team Coach Training, and Clarity Coaching.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about health and fitness, training 5-6 times a week, and proud of completing Ironman Wales in 2014. Married to Jules since 1991, with two grown-up children in Australia, I’m continually motivated by the next challenge—currently, preparing for a Hyrox endurance event.
