The Best Coaching School in the World

The Best Coaching School in the World

I spent last weekend in London at module two of the AJC … Ankush Jain’s Coaching Career School.

The photos with this edition are courtesy of the amazing Alexander Lossew.

This is my third time attending in four years. It’s had a massive impact on both my business and my life.

So why do I call it the best coaching school in the world?

Not as a comparison. Not because I’ve been to them all.

But as a place to come from

When I show up like it is the best in the world … I listen differently.
I expect insights. I treat every person in the room as a teacher.
I get more from it, because of who I choose to be while I’m there.

That shift transforms the experience. Every time.

But I didn’t always see it that way.

When I first heard Ankush speak like that about his school, I thought it was arrogant.
I couldn’t hear the deeper message.
I was filtering everything through judgment and insecurity.

Back then, I didn’t understand the power of language to create.

Now I do. Not always. But more and more.

And when I use language to shift how I show up … it changes everything.

Last weekend I walked into the Reubens Hotel with this thought in mind:
I’m at the best coaching school on the planet, with 40 of the best coaches alive.

What I got from that weekend was huge. And when I implement it, it won’t just transform my coaching business … it will transform my life.

I remember hearing that Devon Bandison, a coach who works with NBA players, calls every day the greatest day of his life.

I used to roll my eyes at that.

But he wasn’t making a philosophical point.

He was creating his day … through language as a place to come from.
Coming from power. From possibility. From love.

And you know what? I bet most of his days do turn out amazing.

Because the lens shapes the experience.

That’s why I’m always working on my language. That’s why I have my ‘document’.

It includes a line I used to find deeply uncomfortable:
“I am the most inspirational and transformational coach on the planet.”

At first, I questioned it. Worried I sounded arrogant.

But over time, something shifted. Then transformed.

Now, when I come from that place, I show up differently.

I listen deeper. Ask bolder questions.
See what my clients can’t yet see.

And the results speak for themselves.

It’s not about ego. It’s about service. It’s about love.
It’s about taking me out of the equation so I can show up fully for them.

Which version of me do you think my clients would rather work with?

So let me ask you:

What are you creating with your language?

Stress? Fear? Doubt?

Or clarity, courage and possibility?

Life doesn’t change because your circumstances do. It changes because your language does.

The way you speak to your team, your clients, even yourself … is driven by how those people occur to you.

That is shaped by your language … but only always … and a totally new experience of life is always just one new thought away.

If this resonates, I’d love to hear how.
